Basis Peak - a new fitness and sleep tracker that measures heart rate

Basis was acquired by Intel and they're getting ready to launch a new watch + fitness/sleep tracker + heart rate monitor called the Basis Peak. For $199, they're offering a sophisticated fitness watch that can track your physical activity, your heart rate (built-in sensor on the back of the watch), and sync with your mobile device (via Bluetooth). It doesn't look like it has a built-in GPS like many running and triathlon watches, but if you're using the Basis Peak with your smartphone, then you'll have speed and distance stats through the GPS on your phone.

The Basis Peak is coming in Nov and will be water resistant to 5 ATM (which is much better than many of the other smartwatches that are on the market).
